Michelle Lisk

Michelle joined GFF&F in April 2021. Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Writing Emphasis from Santa Clara University. After college graduation, she worked for a few years in publications for Bay Area software companies. Michelle yearned for a purpose driven career that would benefit her community, and she knew that law was her calling. She was inspired by her mother, an R.N. and public health nurse, and her father who put himself through law school while working full-time and raising a young family, and who later became a District Attorney and Superior Court Judge. Michelle worked for Adobe Systems, Inc., as a production specialist while attending evening law school and later earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Lincoln Law School of San Jose.

About

Prior to her time at GFF&F, Michelle worked in family law before taking a hiatus to raise her two sons. She spent many years actively volunteering at her children’s schools and their local parish, and as a dog volunteer with the Humane Society Silicon Valley. Michelle returned to family law at the Santa Clara County Family Law Facilitator’s Office, then later joined the private panel of the Independent Defense Counsel Office of Santa Clara County where she prepared felony cases for trial on behalf of indigent defendants. At GFF&F, Michelle is in charge of client intakes, insurance demand correspondence, and coordinating discovery.

Michelle loves music, dance, and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors, especially gardening, hiking, and visiting local beaches.
