Chantel Fitting graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelors of Arts degree. She continued her education at Hastings College of the Law where she received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1999.
Chantel has been a litigation attorney for over fifteen years with a specialty in bodily injury cases. She is recognized as an expert in evaluating serious medical injuries related to catastrophic claims such as brain and spine injuries and presenting that evidence to the jury. Ms. Fitting has a remarkable record of successful jury trials in which her clients have recovered millions of dollars for their injuries. Ms. Fitting recently tried a case before a San Mateo jury in which the insurance company offered $20,000.00 and the jury awarded $974,628.00 to her clients. More recently, a jury rendered a verdict of $500,000.00 to her client when the insurance company offered only $100,000.00. She fights for her clients and is not deterred by the unreasonable conduct of large insurance companies. Ms. Fitting’s success and expertise are recognized by her peers. She is a frequent speaker at legal seminars on recent developments and trends in the law and trial techniques that are essential to achieving favorable outcomes for the clients.
Chantel is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and serves on the Board of Directors, and was former President for the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association. Her determination and success as a trial lawyer for consumers has been recognized by several entities throughout her career. She has been nominated as a Super Lawyer by a rating service of outstanding lawyers who attain a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement and was recently named Top 50 Women Trial Lawyer for Northern California.
