Donald Galine died in 2010 after a long battle with brain cancer.  Mr. Galine spent his career as a personal injury litigator fighting for the underdogs and the disadvantaged. He never backed down from large insurance companies attempting to take advantage of his clients and was an inspiration to other attorneys in the office. He was very active in the Consumer Attorneys of California for many years, serving terms as Treasurer, Vice President and Governor Emeritus. He received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Trench Soldier Award (for Doing Battle in the Trench that was Above and Beyond the Call of Duty), the Hero Award, the Presidential Award of Merit and the Marvin E. Lewis award for “continued guidance, loyalty and dedication.”  Galine was also past President of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers association and was voted the Trial Lawyer of the Year.  His passion was helping personal injury and workers’ compensation victims and did so for over 30 years. He successfully won more than 200 verdicts for his injured clients, including his fair share of high profile cases.
